These wonderful games teach spelling and arithmetic and demonstrate how children learned in the 18th century. In 1693, educator John Locke recommended the use of alphabet dice, so that "children may be cozen’d into a knowledge of letters...without perceiving it to be any thing but sport." This year we have added the Numbers Dice Game. Children and adults alike will find the games fun and challenging.
