We are happy to feature renowned artist, Patricia Palermino, and her wonderful rendition of historic Gadsby's Tavern in Alexandria, Virginia. The 18th century building hosted many dignitaries over time and was once temporary quarters for George and Martha Washington, as well as Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. This depiction is of a holiday party about to take place. In a snowy scene, elegant guests are just arriving at Gadsby's. Horse drawn carriages, wreaths in the windows and ladies in their party finery all add to the air of festivity. Patricia Palermino has done it again - brought history to life with her uncanny knack for capturing the essence of historical charm. Print is mounted under glass in a complementary hand-painted brick-toned frame. 23-1/2" W x 19-1/2" H.
