The Colonnade of Washington and Lee University is reflected in the window of Lee Chapel. The chapel was built at the request of Robert E. Lee when he became president of the university following the Civil War. It is a multi-purpose facility today. Photograph by Ellen Martin, Rockbridge County, VA.
