This full 360 degree panoramic photograph shows the drill field at heart of the VMI campus. Aside from such distinguished graduates as George C. Marshall and famous instructors such as Stonewall Jackson, the campus itself is of great historical significance and a monument to the architectural history of the United States. During the Civil War, VMI contributed its own cadets to the Confederate victory at The Battle of New Market in 1864. (This is a companion photograph to the panorama of The New Market Battlefield). Matted and framed in beautiful brushed bronze with a walnut hue, signed and numbered by the artist. 40"x10"
